- STA-LOK® is a positive locking feature that comes with Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel hitch pin clips. You may also substitute a padlock in place of the hitch pin clip. Proper use of these mechanisms can help prevent spills by keeping the cam arms from opening under adverse conditions, such as high vibrations, pulsing, wear, and hazardous materials. STA-LOK® couplers meet the Coast Guard ASTM 1122-87 specifications for Quick Disconnect Couplers.

- Brass:
- Good corrosion resistance, less expensive than stainless steel. Softer and easier to thread than stainless steel and forms tight seals.
- Ideal for use with water. Can also be used with hydraulic oil, coolants, gasoline, and petroleum products.
- 316 Stainless Steel
- Excellent corrosion-resistant material that provides high strength at high temperatures, helps prevent contamination of product being transported, maintains cleanliness and retains a lustrous appearance. Harder than brass.
- Ideal for use with salt water, waste water, and many chemicals; can also be used with hydraulic oil and coolants.
