Overview:
  • This style utilizes proven SYNTHEPAK white packing (#8922), plus additional reinforced corners of Celanese PBI fibers. The utilization of PBI material enhances the packing performance against abrasives and slurries, providing excellent chemical resistance and retaining strength against heat and chemicals.
  • Among its many applications are rotary shafts on pumps, agitators, mixers, liquid scrubbers, crystallizers and filters; for use also with reciprocating rods, rams and plungers on pumps, accumulators, intensifiers and hydraulic presses, slip-type expansion joints and floating heads on heat exchangers.
