Overview:
  • Non-contaminating, braided PTFE for dynamic rotary and reciprocating sealing environments requiring extreme abrasion resistance
  • PTFE impregnation and corner braiding of abrasion-resistant aramid fibers creates this highly durable, non-contaminating, and long life packing.
  • By combining SYNTHEPAK yarns with aramid fiber corners, Garlock has created a unique packing combination which is durable and non-contaminating. Because of the strength of aramid fiber, 8921-K is well-suited to handle high pressure applications - both rotating and reciprocating.
  • 8921-K is an excellent choice for extreme dynamic sealing environments. This style may be utilized with both acids and alkalies, most gases, petroleum and synthetic oils, aromatic and aliphatic solvents, water and salt solutions and many slurries.
