Overview:
  • Style 1200-PBI is manufactured from an Inconel wire-reinforced jacket of PBI yarn over an extruded asbestos-free core. The PBI yarns completely encapsulate the wire, eliminating concerns of stem scoring. Also featured is tungsten disulfide, a solid form lubricant which is non-corrosive to stuffing boxes. 1200-PBI offers many advantages such as excellent abrasion resistance, dimensional stability at high temperatures and excellent resistance to most solvents and chemicals.
